Is that your "delivery date" or the date the car arrives at the dealership?

Give at least one day for the PDI.

I've been in the "any day now" camp for two weeks. My delivery date varies several times a day by the Toyota tracking system. Basically noone can tell me where the hell my car is at any given moment. Waiting is getting harder the closer it gets!

Mine came in a few days early. 'Twas pretty neat to get the call from the dealership before it was expected.

An honest dealer would of told you later (if not sure exact date) so if it comes earlier than expected both parties will be happy... Provided them following up with any updates with you.

When did you put down the deposit?

Sorry to disappoint, but we've all heard how bad Open Road is so don't hold their word for it.

Yeah I agree. Put it down about a month ago. I almost regret getting it from here. They provide absolutely no updates whatsoever. I'm really annoyed to say the least
I dealt directly with the manager named AHMED so I hope they get their shiz together

No. I highly doubt it.

I put my order down Oct 2011 and was told I was #1 on the list which when I checked closer to release date somehow turned into #2. Anyways about 3 people got their cars before me, one of them being the exact colour and tranny I ordered even tho he was #6 on the list.

I dealt with Ahmed as well and while he is a nice guy and seems like he really wants to help you it was all bullshit. Was told my car would be ready for me 4 times before it actually came in.

Ahmed is just the sales manager and knew nothing about the car. I showed he a bunch of stuff about the car and they still screwed me. Opeanroad are also the dealership who offered me "lifetime" detailing and on the very 1st time I used it the car came back with swirls and scratches all over it as well as soaking wet as well as the place where the head service guy tried to tell me my body panels don't fit well because the FRS is tq monster...

Never will I go to Openroad for anything. The General Manger there Barry however is a good guy and tried to make things up to me however the techs and service there are dreadful.

Shit dude. I'm scared now. What should I do? I already ordered mine and I really don't wanna wait another 3 to 5 months for it..

In Richmond I just found them really disrespectful towards a customer.

Port Moody on the other hand the Sales manager was an idiot. Trying to tell me that I should be thankful that I'm buying the car in Canada at 25k instead of Croatia at 36k...No bearing what so ever since I already put the deposit down lol. A lil while later I was trying to haggle down the price for the ECP he got a little defensive and TOLD me to take my money and go to another dealership. So I did.
