Celica...

Anyone have a Celica before brz/frs?
I loved it when I first got it and knew nothing about cars...
It was because of her that made me interested in cars...
Had her for 2 1/2 years.
Side note: Sorry photo is so big..how do you make it smaller?

I owned a 1990 GT Coupe celica, first car which I bought about 10 years ago now.

My second car was a 1994 Celica GT-S, which I've put on a gt-four front bumper/hood. Nothing mechanical, the car was beginning to rust a bit too much for my taste.

I fidn it quite interesting there's a lot of ex/current celica owners with the 86....It was about time toyota makes something exciting again

My Girlfriend had the ST202 ('94 GT Model), sold it 4 years ago and bought the T23 ('02 GT-S Model) Celica. Guess who introduced her to those cars :-)
I myself was more into the Supras, however I can kind of say I owned several Celica's, even if they are called correctly Celica Supras :-)

In 1982 my wife and I were shopping for a new car. We had looked at several different makes and were setting in a new Volvo at the dealership. I suggested to my wife that we should buy the car. I'll never forget her response: "No, let's wait 'till we're old".

Across the street was a Toyota dealership. We had, neither of us, ever been in a Japanese car. We decided to walk across the street and take a look. We left there with a new Celica GT fastback. That was our introduction to Japanese cars. We still haven't bought a Volvo.

The FRS is what the Celica should have been all along... a lot of the spirit of the Celica exists in thee FRS to me
