Any more pics of the injen BR-Z?

I've been waiting for some CF hoods to come out since mine needs replaced, and I saw these photos from the SEMA photo thread... I like a couple of the SEIBON hoods that I have seen but I can't find any better photos of this one... anyone seen shots with the hood shut so we can see the vents better?

and the same hood on another BRZ

Personally, until there is a reason to have that big scoop sucking in air, I'd rather the other version that just has the exhaust vents (note that this one has been painted, which makes it look even better in my opinion)

I just bought that hood for my Whitout FR-S and am having it painted exactly like that. I'm still trying to decide on the Aerocatch hood latches, Flush mount which looks amazing but requires perfect cutting or the Flush plus like the ones on this car, which doesnt require the cutouts to be 100% perfect because it mounts on top of the hood. Guess I will have to see how much labor costs for each type to be installed because I dont have the tools or the bravery to cut up a CF hood.

Yes, please no WRX/STi scoop on a non-turbo car. The other one looks pretty nice, though.

I got a smoking deal on the hood, dunno what the weight savings are, if there is any. I want this hood because, when I first bought the car I just thought the hood was too plain and imagined it would look nice with some vents in carbon...the Seibon pretty much made what I daydreamed about. The hood latches are for safety, Im pretty sure its overkill and will probably run without them if the construction of the OEM latch looks robust enough. I know alot of people who say that hood latches are a must have for CF hoods, but all the horror stories Ive heard of hoods opening while driving were because people bought pretty cheap no name hoods. The seibon hood is actually a CF skin supported by frp underneath.

The hood is actually more rigid than the stock aluminum one which is quite nice. In the end though if I feel that the latches are necessary then I will get them...just waiting on my hood to arrive.

I was unsure about the hood, which is why i wanted more photos, so thank you for those! The painted hood on the orange rocket bunny one was my first choice... I thought I would like the idea of the WRX style scoop but idk if im feeling it....

Car will be turbo'd eventually... take it easy. My car was caught in a hail storm and it needs a new hood, hence, possibly getting a hood that can "only go on a turbo car" before its turbo....

The hood scoop is pretty meh, only turbo setup that that would make sense on is the ones like Accelerated performance. All the others mount the air intake under the bumper. Just saying, to each their own, but imo, leave the Scooby hood scoops for top mount intercoolers and ugly boxy STI's.

Maybe so but you won't be running a top mount intercooler, so a WRX style scoop isn't really functional. A reverse vented hood would draw hot air out of the engine bay.

I've had serious fit and finish problems with Seibon parts.
