Just installed the cusco under body brace. The good news is anyone with a GTS the brace fits on with all the under body aero parts still fitted. One thing I did find was the left hand side under body suspension arm where the brace bolts onto the body was not tight. The right hand side was very snug. It must have been missed, the car has travelled 200 km.

I would hope this would be picked up at the 1000 km service, it's all tight under there now.

If you are under there it might be worth checking.

Grats! Btw how do you check the first two in the list. I'm not even sure what the rubber stoppers are.

The rubber stoppers are taken out to secure the car on the boat for the ride over. As part of the delivery check the dealer puts these back in under the car to make it water tight. There have been a few members here that have found that they were not replaced. There are a few picks on the forum to show you what they are and where they should be.

With the trans oil again there have been a few unluck people who have driven around with out oil in the trans. I am going to get conformation from them to start with and get it physically checked later on. There is a thread on preferred oil to use as some people have experienced difficulties with second gear in cooler weather. Not planing on having that problem here in Brisbane.

I have the 2nd gear difficult to shift issue here from day 1. Weather plays a part but its still notchy sometimes. Redline MT90 is going in next week with Perrin bush and Cusco collar. Lets see if it gets better.

Congrats Neilus! You should also check in the service manual for a few other Pre-Delivery Inspections.

2nd gear is notchy until the gearbox is warm no matter what the temp.

I'm putting in Motul 300v this weekend as part of a hopeful cure. Aso going in are the Cusco gearbox stiffener and Perrin shifter bushing while I have it up in the air. Hopefully one, all or a combination of the three will calm it down. Air temp doesn't make that much difference.

Lol... Sorry I have been busy. I have had 4 photo shoots in three days and I worked all day Sunday. But I have been busy of a night time.

So I have installed my cosco strut bar 86 oil cap and hood struts.
Pics will be up after dinner.

Believe it or not when I ordered this car in may I hadn't test driven it until last Friday when I picked it up. I knew it would be just the car for me. My first impressions were the driving position is first class. I had read about this for the last 6 months but you just can't appreciate what people are talking about until you get behind the wheel. I just love the seats and the whole feel about the car I just don't want to get out of it.

The people at work just can't stop talking about it. I work with a fearly young crowed and now I have been asked to join them for a drive through mt glorious here in Brisbane next weekend. I had to laugh.. There are a few guys with zoopped up skylines etc.

Mind you I won't be racing my 86.

Here's a thing, the service rep at Toyota said to me that the engines in the 86 are per run in and the oil and filter has been changed. You can just drive it as normal. Be interested to hear of anyone else has herd this.

Tonight I plan to put the cosco under body brace on. This car really turns in nicely already and I'm really happy with it. Not sure if this will make much of a difference may be at higher speeds Ill wait and see.

I have an SRT exhaust to go on but I thought I would wait until after my first service. The service tech at Toyota asked me if it has a different back pressure to the engine. Of course I don't know but I though it might be worth if finding out as this will impact on my warrantee.
It will still go on the car of course just interest to know where I stand.

More images to come.

Hi, did you end up installing the 5 axis spoiler? Where'd you get it from and how much shipped?
Cheers,
G

The service tech is laying the ground to void any warranty claims for the engine. The car has been designed to be modified by enthusiasts. Just tell him the ECU compensates for any changes and it's also been tested for compliance.
