I'm sure anyone considering that has no concern about warranty.

The motor is just plain ugly. Tucking the wires won't help.

One of my previous cars:
![]() I say no to tucking a boxer... As if they weren't hard enough to work on...

dude tucking a motor on a boxer made it 10x easier to work on. I tucked my sti and it was SO easy to get to things.
example, spark plug change on a tucked motor: 10 min, IF that lol. I didn't go super nuts but everything you would need to get to is still there. The only thing was moving the fuse box into the fender, or some would route it in the cabin. either way it took two minutes for me to take my bumper off so it didn't matter. |

Take bumper off to change fuse? Or just pop the top of the fuse box to change fuse... Seems like a no brainer to me.
On my Celica I had the fuse box in the fender and it only took one rainy day to fry the electronics despite having weatherproofed the box. I routed it back to the engine bay after that. Total PITA.

OK, I take back my previous comment, slightly.
This PW:JDM engine cover makes the engine bay look 10x better: ![]() Put a smaller battery in, paint the fluid caps black, add a supercharger/turbo kit and now you're talkin'!

I did have it covered though with tupperware container. A little ghetto, but it did its job. I was going to upgrade it to a electronic box cover from home depot, but i sold my car so. |
