so i just read the sticky about wheels, but i am wondering if people have suggestions for what they think works best for an FRS, as a daily driver with stock setup. thanks!

sorry if this is a stupid or unanswerable question!

Depends on what your goals are.

You mentioned stock setup, do you mean keeping 17x7 rims and 215/45-17 tires? If so, I would look into a lightweight rim like the OZ Aleggrita at around 15 lbs and a grippy summer tire like the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec.

Do you want to buy just wheels or are you ok buying tires too? Whats your budget and what kind of wheels do you like? Lip or no lip? Concave, etc?

yeah i figured i would get new tires too. i like a small lip but not really a deal breaker either way. i like relatively conservative, not crazy flashy. probably gunmetal or silver, not chrome. i think total for wheels and tires 1000-1500 if that is realistic
