Bad news bears :(

It's around 9 PM driving northbound in I-45 in Houston. I'm cruising going 65 mph and what do I see hurling from car to car? A piece of metal that's being run over by the truck in front of me. Of course I'm driving pretty far behind the guy in front of me but I had nowhere to go. Both of my lanes had cars next to me so all I could do was eat it

I'd call the city and file for compensation. They should be responsible for road debry damage. At least that works here for damage to cars from road hazards.

DAMN! That thing chopped the bumper up! Just be glad it wasn't flying through the windshield and chopping your head off...

As stated above, I have heard of some people getting compensation from the city for road debris incidents, but I have never had to deal with that. I hope they can pay for it all!
