2013 BMW Activehybrid 3

I was reading the BMW site about the Activehybrid 3 and I got really confused about the horsepower.
here is the statement in the site:

"Maybe it's the fact that it features a 300 hp engine with a 55 hp electric motor that has a combined total output of 335 hp. Or maybe it's the fact that it still boasts unrivaled performance with its hybrid-specific 8-speed automatic transmission. Either way, this hybrid definitely breaks the mold with efficiency that never skimps on power."

So 300hp + 55hp = 335hp? what happen to the missing 20hp? can someone explain to me?

this is what Toyota prius statement taken from official totyota site:
"A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 98 horsepower powers both the 2012 Prius and Prius Plug-in. The battery pack makes 36 horsepower for a combined total output of 134 horsepower."
98hp +36hp = 134hp , totally make sense!

So, is the BMW lost the 20hp over the awesome 8 speed transmission?
