Is P0108 (MAP sensor) common ?
I had a hard time finding an FR-S and had go way long distance to get one. About 20 miles into my ride home I got a CEL. Assumed it was just the same CEL everyone else was getting, but my idle was fine as was the engine performance. Drove it 1100 miles back and forth to work. My only scanner was an OBDI. So I ordered an EML327 USB scanner.
Finally got a day off. But the nearest Scion dealer was far and they don't know subaru boxer engines anyway so I changed my oil. Hooked up the scanner to my old laptop and was surprised to get a P0108 code. This is a MAP sensor error. I have seen this when the intake is not installed tight on cars (usually when one installs an aftermarket cold air intake.) I drove it hard for about 10 miles after resetting the code and all seems well. Anyone else get this ? |
