What does this TSB mean?
Sorry I can't give you a direct link, but it doesn't work.
Go to Safercars.gov Click on the Vehicle Owners tab Click on Service Bulletins in the left hand column Enter the year, make, model of the vehicle. Finally you will get to "retrieve TSBs" Finally you get this message:

That's what I don't get. Whether it is an inspection of existing faulty sensors, or an inspection as to whether any previously done work needs reinspection?

It is a precautionary bulletin (the same bulletin exists for all Toyota/Lexus/Scion models with drive-by-wire pedal sensors) informing technicians not to put any lubricants or oils into the pedal sensor area. Nothing should be sprayed or applied in that area for fear that it may affect pedal readings.

Interesting. How does the throttle behave if it gets inadvertantly lubed?
I wonder if that might account for a problem in my car? |

On a serious note. I would think that if lube got on the throttle sensor then the car would not know how much fuel to dump. Could be less or it could think you have the pedal floored. Erratic possibly.

From the looks of the hood, the fender markers, and the fuel door, I would say this is not an FR-S.

It looks like a Tesla Roadster and not an FR-S or a BRZ.
