Does anybody know what OEM (supplier) paint is used by Toyota and Subaru for the GT-86 and BRZ?

I don't know why it matters. All i know is that they're both coming from the exact same factory.

I would think Subaru as they come from a Subaru factory and that some of the colors of the Scion look like Subaru colours (Ultramarine on the FR-S looks a lot like Subaru's galaxy blue.

Yeah but i wanted to know which brand is their supplier. Or is it that they do this in-house and make their own paints.

Car companies do not manufacturer their own paint. And, the paint used at the factory is not available for sale to the public or body shops. It's applied totally different then how a body shop would do it also.
Is there a reason you are asking?

Thanks for such an straight forward answer.
The reasons I am asking is as below: 1. When the car gets scratched due to accident or any other ill-fated occurrence how near can we get it painted exactly the same colour. (I know there are machines at the body paint shops that can get the same colour shade, but the fact is OEM cannot be replicated 100%.) 2.I also wanted to know because after some years the paint gets dull so I intend to re-paint the whole car exactly the same as OEM paint, I've got a thing for keeping it STOCK. 3. Out of curiosity.

All good points.
1- A good shop should have no problems matching your existing finish. Especially if you properly maintain it. Yes, finishes at the OEM level are some of the most uniform and durable ones out there, but again, a competant shop can/should be able to make things right. Especially with aftermarket paint which is the only paint available anyways. 2-Paint does not get dull unless you allow it to. I've worked on 50 year old finishes that are still in excelent condition. I know many other people that have as well. The key (again) is taking care of your existing finish so that it does not degrade.
