Unofficial: price of the ft86 in middle east

Hello guys

Just few hours ago i was speaking to a friend of mine who own an ae86, and while talking about cars he mentioned that one of his friends who work at major toyota dealer in saudi that the ft86 will be priced at $23k for base model, and $32.5k for a fully loadded one.

Now im not saying you guys will have the same price range, because down here the toyota zelas (your scion tc) is priced at $26k for base, and $28.5k for fully loadded tc (so its basiclly $6k to $8k more)

So from comparing the price gap, I think the us spec ft86 will be from $17k for base up till $24.5k for a fully loaded one

I will speak again to my friend tomorrow, and will ask him to double check with his friend about the price of the middle east spec ft86 just for comparasion.

There's no way I'll believe it coming in at 17k. If it did it would sell like a mofo!!

Ya, generally the dealer doesn't know any more than you do, and usually less.

If the base price of this car is less than 20K they are gonna sell like gangbusters IMO! Also is this going to be a 2013 model year and they start selling it in around July of 2012? I got my 2007 Yaris in July of 2006. Or is Scion a little different?

I agree, this HAS to sell for more than the tC. Unless they sell one that is like, "Stripped". I would abolutely buy a stripped one. Just give me electric power steering, keyless entry and A/C. I don't want a radio or anything else.
