Lightbulb Survey: Does BRZ and FRS have the same cabin noise?

Guys, I was wondering about the cabin noise from those two cars. I know that both are identical except for some specs, but do they have the same resonator or level of noise inside the cabin?

Thank you. I'm just doing a research

I find the road noise obtrusive and louder than the noise maker.

My friend has a FR-S and I a BRZ. I drove his car for 120miles and I noticed after my first mile in BRZ it was louder/ bumpier than his not by much. He and my friends can't tell the difference though

I've driven down the same stretch of freeway in both and there is no significant difference.

If it bugs you you could always install 100lbs of dynamat.

for weight saving its clear they skimped on paddings

I have an frs and I dont think the cabin noise is any worse than any of the sti's I have owned. I haven't been on the freeway in a brz yet though.

Our house has both a BRZ and FR-S. I can confirm that the noise in the cabin overall has a negligible difference. Ride quality is just a tiny bit harsher in the FR-S is all
