Bird poop vs paint

My hood got a small shot of bird doo yesterday and I waited until this morning to wash it (hey I was tired after work). Anyhow, there is a small flat spot now where the poop was. Do I just need to rewax it or is there another way to buff this s**t out?

Try to rub it lightly with flowing water and a microfibre towel.
If that doesn't work; the heat from your engine probably fried the poop...
Try using a detailing formula and rub it lightly with a microfibre towel.

If all fails; buff/polish!...

I just used a spray wash and wax with microfiber rag to get the poop off. The leftover stain disappeared like a day later.
