Fortune Auto 500/cusco lca
I just wanted to share my experience with my newly acquired and installed suspension . The quality of these products look to be top notch, i chose all the upgrades(roller bearings, rear extenders, helper springs with swift springs 7/7k) and i dont regret it. The rear extenders i didn't need and you will see why in the pictures. The swift springs ride amazingly smooth, i completely forget i have coilovers sometimes, till a turn comes about and the car sticks like crazy glue into and out of it. I installed everything according to FA's suggestions, the shock body needs to be threaded into the hub mounting point 60mm front and 40mm rear and front preload 1/4" front and 1/8" rear this leaves the ride as high as it should be, from there on you should only lower, mine is basically lowered about 1/4" from the highest point. The coilovers come with adjustable front sway bar links(will be needed) and fully assembled. One thing that happened to me and hope it doesn't happen to others is that the top hat for the front struts were inverted, meaning the top hat for the left shock was installed on the right and vice versa. I'm assuming since these are custom orders and assembled differently for each client, things like these happen. You will notice because the camber adjustment wont be straight, instead it'll adjust towards center of car(-camber) and towards the rear(+caster) instead of just straight towards the center of engine(-camber). Before i forget although the front roller bearings are exceptionally smooth and allow for perfect steering in macpherson suspension, the longevity is questionable as these are exposed to all the elements, after only a couple of days, mine were full of sand, dust, rocks... which will detriment their function. The frs has adjustable toe in the front and the rear but no camber so camber kits are a must if alignment is important to you. Both components come with all hardware ready to install, the FA coils have a place to hold ABS line and brake line, just as OEM. I really hope this helps others when buying a similar product. By the way i bought these from Lisa @ true street industries, she couldn't be more helpful and pleasant to deal with, best price also
![]() ![]() Not much of a drop, about .75" rear and 1" front, i really want to keep a functional ride with as little wear to the rest of the suspension components. It is unbelievable how much this cars rusts, look at all the rusty parts. I've only had it for about two months, in live in florida and no where near the beach. ![]() ![]() I decided to cut the carpet for easy adjusting of the rear dampers. If you're careful and only cut the bottom part, you could leave the carpet as a flap that you lift to adjust and lower to cover ![]() ![]() easy access.

fortune auto stuff is real nice. and the fact they use swift springs is even better. can't go wrong for the price too. it's a coilover i may be highly interested in, without killing the wallet and without compromising quality.

Another note to look out for, when installing the provided swaybar adjustable endlink make sure is not long enough for the bottom end to hit the lower control arm when turning

For those of you that may have had coilover experience before, do they always make odd noises? I get some cracking/creak noises at low speeds, while going over bumps or holes. The system is great other than that. Thanks

I know i would get popping sounds creaking sounds when turning the wheel at low speeds because the spring would twist.

Seems the McPherson suspension is a bit more prone to noise than most when it comes to riding on coilovers but generally coilovers will make some sort of noise.
