Freed Engineering - Fortune Auto coilovers

The guys over at Fortune Auto have been working real hard on their FR-S/BRZ coilover kits for a while now. They've been working out a few bugs trying to get a perfect setup for us and I just recently installedmy own set over the past weekend..

We have worked on some cars for the guys (and girls) at Fortune Auto in the past and have gotten to know them pretty well, I must say they are an awesome group of people and are very helpful and friendly.

They sent me a real high quality setup, I'm pleased to say they ride great and everything went together no problems. I'm waiting for it to settle a bit then I will adjust again.

- This wasn't the finalized version, thats why the springs are different colors.

These pictures were on a hill, that's why the rear is a bit higher.

I was at the shop with the FR-S on the dyno all saturday and didn't even start on the coilovers til around 10 or 11 pm so excuse the blurry pics... I was tired.

I remember your post for the wheels and had though 'meh' to the wheel choice on this car and wrote it off as just not my style...
but wow do those ever pull it off with the drop that the coilovers provide... very impressed. Great wheel choice!

What is the MSRP?

Thanks man! Yea... I'm not a big fan of the black face/polish lips. But a drop def makes me think twice about them! ha.

MSRP $1149.00

We should have some special FT86 club prices.

Handles great so far. Still need to tweak it a bit. Fortune Auto wanted to make sure it didn't lose that snappy feel from factory. Definitely loving this setup

Also curious about when these will be available... I am on the verge of ordering coils and am having a tough time deciding between BC and KW (which may be overkill for my 99% street driven car) but these kind of fill the gap... at least price wise...

Are the brakeline tabs welded do the coilover bodies or would we have to ghetto rig it with zip ties? Whats the spring rates?
