In development. Interesting design.

Assuming the pic is from an 86, looks like strange placement behind the radiator, also it doesnt have any fins that i can see, the pic confuses me.

LOL that looks like an Air-Water intercooler placed between the engine and the radiator. This car must be turbo'd.

Although I could be wrong as the scale is hard to judge...

My guess is increased coolant capacity, and oil-to-water fluid cooler is what it looks like. (much like an air to water intercooler, where radiating heat isn't expelled through fins, but through fluid-to-fluid transfer)

nice, just a gigantic oil to water cooler. So it is like the factory WRX/STi oil coolers, just much larger and prettier

Thanks,
Rick

hhmm... water-cooled oil cooler, i wonder why didn't opt for the air-cooled oil cooler setup like the greddy...

my best guess is that this setup results in a much more linear and consistent cooling capability versus the air-cooled setup because that is more dependent on air flow while the car is accelerating

Water to oil coolers typically do not require a thermostat, keeps it simple. Seems like a pretty clean way to do it. Air to Air is typically more efficient but that looks like a pretty massive core...

There was a pretty long thread on this maybe a month ago. Seems nice but my guess is they will charge an arm and a leg for it. I'll just wait for the Perrin air to air cooler.
