FR-S leather interior

I apologize if this is old news.

Katzkin upholstery has a leather kit available for the FR-S. Both front and rear seats for $789.00. Their web site offers a variety of color options. I called them to see if they would make up a set with black leather and red stitching and they told me they would. I've never used their product but I've only read good things about them. This might be a route that some of us might want to travel. I'll wait to see how well I like/dislike the fabric that Scion uses.

I like the stock seats, which is rare, because I usually go with the leather option.

I agree with Synack. I typically install leather in my vehicles, if they don't have them. However, for some reason, I really like the stock seats.

I have Katzkin leather in my Tundra, and absolutely love it. I had it installed 5yrs ago, and it still looks and feels new (much better than my wife's OEM leather in her Sequoia). No rips, tears, wear/tear...the leather is still very tight...no wrinkles or loose spots. I'd definitely look into this more, if they can do the black leather with red stitching AND make sure it installs very snug/tight. It has to look OEM.

I sent an inquiry to Katzkin, but if all else fails there is always the SARD seat covers.

Thanks W! It's good to know. I've toyed with this option in my mind for a bit. For now, I keep a lint roller in the car!

Link to the FR-S kit? I was planning on doing this as as soon as they become available on their site (assuming I purchased my FR-S before they came out ).

I actually contacted them a couple of months back. They were definitely working on covers for our cars. They initially wanted to use my car for testing, but I told them I was in FL. They offered me a discount if I bought a set when they were released, though.

I love the Katskinz leather! I was sitting in one that a dealership had (for a marked up one at 3995 lol) and it feels so nice and upscale. Idk why people say they slide around in it, the leather isn't that slippery and the bucket seats hug your back anyways.

I also have them in my 4runner, got them installed 5 years ago and until this day it still smells like new leather!

Someone here had it done when they got their car (was a "dealer installed accessory" or something.)
it actually looks pretty good for aftermarket leather.

Ill see if i can find the link to their car.

I have the dealer installed Katzkin leather in my FR-S and I have to admit they are a great product. I liked the fabric seats in the FR-S but the leather with red stitching is awsome. It also makes the rear seats look much better. Overall it gives the interior a more high end look.
