Track day oil change intervals for my 2017 BRZ

Hello everyone, I have two questions I'd like to ask.

I've stockpiled a lot of ACEA C3 spec motor oils, including Shell ECT 0w30 and Mobil 1 ESP 0w30. These oils also carry VW50400, MB229.52, and Porsche C30 certifications. At the race track I frequently visit, I can run 12 sessions in a day, each lasting 20 minutes. My 2017 BRZ is mostly stock, with only modifications to the tires, oil cooler, brake discs, and brake pads. At my current level of track driving, the oil temperature generally stays below 115°C.

My first question is, given these conditions, how often should I change my oil? Should I change it after every track day (12 sessions)?

My second question is, I also have plenty of A3/B4 spec oils, including Total Energy 0w30 and Castrol Edge 0w30. Would using these oils be relatively better? Could they potentially extend the oil change interval?

Thank you everyone.

Your best bet is to do 2 track days then get the oil analyzed and see how it’s holding up.

I change my mobil 1 super 3000 xe1 5w30 after 3 or 4 days. Oil temps are normally hitting 120c highest I ever seen on track was 123c.

Like I said best to get it analyzed instead of just guessing. If you want to play it safe change after 2 track events.

Alright, thanks. I'll send the used oil for analyzing. I'm just concerned about whether it will hold up through the second track day.

Well nothing wrong with sending the oil after 1 track day to see how it’s done. Then send another sample of say 3 track days. It’s a bit more time and money but it might be worth it for your piece of mind
