Steering making squeaking/creaking/groaning sound

Relevant mods are Perrin Steering Lockdown, RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers and Verus top hats. This started fairly recently. I took it to the shop where they found that the coils were rubbing against the top hats. Steering limiter was put in but coming home it again started making the squeaking sound by the end of the drive. This makes me think the sound is coming from some part of the steering itself rather than suspension. Here are two videos, one from inside, one from outside. The steering wheel is being turned left and right in both videos. Would appreciate any pointers from anyone who had the same issue.

If you lift the front of the car off the ground, does it still do it?

I only have a simple jack that lifts one side at a time unfortunately

Bump. Anyone else?

Another thing I noticed is it only does this at the end of a drive. There was a post somewhere I saw where someone said a melting sway bar bushing was causing squeaking. Would make sense then that it's at the end of the drive when the exhaust components are hot.

Can your jack fit under the front of the car?
There is a jacking point where the radiator support is to lift from the front end.

Worth checking the bushings for peace of mind.

Do a google search for electric steering wheel coupler and watch some videos and see if it is the same. I just did one on my 2012 Camry.

I sprayed some wd40 into the top hats and up from the wheel well and the noise disappeared immediately. Having said that, wd40 is not really a lubricant and it didn't help for long. Also after reaching out to RCE it seems the Verus top hats don't have a lower radial bearing, which could be the cause of the issue. So I ordered some oem TRD top hats from Japan and will swap those in. TBC

RCE currently has limited supply of their lowering top hats that come with SuperStreet series coilovers. Might be worth a message depending how commited you are to TRD bits.

Well the Tarmacs were made mostly for OEM top hats so I'm thinking that should be fine, plus honestly I kinda want the rubber top hats back lol. Had enough NVH

Ended up being Racer X endlinks squeaking like crazy and the Verus camber plates not getting along with the Tarmac 2s. Went with TRD top hats from Japan and Moog endlinks that are regreasable
