Groaning from Front End when Traction Lost

Like the title says I've been hearing a groaning sound from the front end when traction control engages. This is most noticeable during the winter time when the car slides. At first I thought it was normal but I have a feeling it is not.

Anyone else have this similar sound? Am I losing my mind or should I be concerned?

I can try to get a video next time I'm out in the snow.

I think I actually heard a similar noise earlier today. It happened right after I lost traction while turning on wet pavement. I thought it was strange as well.

Normal. It's everything engaging and disengaging to keep you safe.

The noise is the ABS actuator turning on and off the brakes to keep the vehicle in control. IF there is an issue your ABS . TRAC . CEL will turn on.

Aye, it's the ABS Actuator activating the brakes when traction control kicks in, my BRZ makes the same noise and my pickup truck does too.
