How much longer should I be waiting for...

Hi folks I ordered mine on July 30 and havnt got VIN yet...the sales told me today it wont be shipped to Canada until mid-October. However when I spoke to other dealerships they said it will only take about 4 weeks to arrive...who is telling the truth?

I am in calgary so if it ships in October I will be driving it in snow by the time it gets here.

sitting there doesn't mean they aren't sold.

here in BC the car (in manual) is sold out for the rest of the year.

my advice is to call every dealer close to you and ask them to inform you if anyone pulls out of their order.

Ordered my brz May 27th and my dealer still hasnt given me the vin number. In fact he has no idea when the car will arrive. i noticed lot of fr-s guys are receiving their cars with in a month or so. Not that lucky for people who ordered brz. Just frustrating to wait almost 4 months for a car. On top of that, receiving a car during the winter is just PLAIN bad luck. I WISHED i ordered my car earlier.
