Autel TPMS sensors ?
Has anyone successfully used the Autel brand TPMS sensors?
If so, what model? These? https://www.amazon.com/Autel-2in1-4P...ct_top?ie=UTF8 Thanks! |

I’ve used them on multiple cars. On the BRZ I have them in my winter wheels. Tire Rack has a package where you get 8 sensors and the 508 programming tool… that’s what I use. Easily cloned each of the OEM BRZ sensors onto the new sensors and now I just swap the wheels and the car doesn’t know the difference.

Yup. I've got three sets rolling around all with the same IDs as the OEM sensors.
EDIT: Autel TPMS Relearn Tool TS408 + Autel MX-Sensor 2 in 1

2. Once registered, does the car care if the ID's are in different spots? Really wish I had gone with this option when I got my winters from TireRack. Right now I'm trying to get some software running on a laptop to change it. |

I went the opposite route. Never touched the TPMS system in the car. Just copied the OEM sensor IDs to the new programmable IDs and then switch wheels when I feel like it. (or when it's winter/summer/stockers for some reason). The car can't care where the sensors go otherwise every rotation would suck.

In my experience with OEM sensors, after "initializing", the car re-learns which wheel/sensor is in which position.
