Autel TPMS sensors ?

Has anyone successfully used the Autel brand TPMS sensors?

If so, what model?

These?

Thanks!

I’ve used them on multiple cars. On the BRZ I have them in my winter wheels. Tire Rack has a package where you get 8 sensors and the 508 programming tool… that’s what I use. Easily cloned each of the OEM BRZ sensors onto the new sensors and now I just swap the wheels and the car doesn’t know the difference.

Yup. I've got three sets rolling around all with the same IDs as the OEM sensors.

1. Does the TS408 let you register the ID's with the car?
2. Once registered, does the car care if the ID's are in different spots?

Really wish I had gone with this option when I got my winters from TireRack. Right now I'm trying to get some software running on a laptop to change it.

I went the opposite route. Never touched the TPMS system in the car. Just copied the OEM sensor IDs to the new programmable IDs and then switch wheels when I feel like it. (or when it's winter/summer/stockers for some reason).

The car can't care where the sensors go otherwise every rotation would suck.

In the owner's manual, it says you're supposed to "initialize" the TPMS system when rotating the tires.
In my experience with OEM sensors, after "initializing", the car re-learns which wheel/sensor is in which position.
