Front plates

Anybody used this before? http://www.autoattire.com/stngofrho.html

Wondering because I need a front plate but don't want it drilled into the bumper

Might be worth looking into. Even if I mounted it under the front lip, I wouldn't want any holes drilled.

That is pretty sick I'm in the same situation I found this guy that sells this mount which I might use zip ties to fasten onto grill

Both Grimmspeed and Perrin have a front plate mounting kit that uses the front tow hook. I picked up a Grimmspeed one and plan on telling the dealer to not drill for front plates when my order comes in.

I'd rather not have the ricer look of a side mount. That's why I'd like to know if this would work for the brz

Im looking for both a no drill solution and symmetry on my front plate... I know unheard of.

Can the Tom Selleck stache be removed? I'm thinking I may use a combo of 3M double stick tape and some thin braided black plastic coated wire to slip on the top of the stache and maybe using a dremil to make two small openings.. This way removal can be hidden from all angles outside of standing over the plate itself while keeping the front squeeky clean.

Never considered a side mounted plate as "ricer". Sticking a GTR badge on your Nissan, ricer. But maintaining a clean look and not drilling into the front bumper I wouldn't consider to be "ricer". To each his own. Good luck with your search.

I installed the automatic version. It works great if you don't want it to move much. It's built very cheaply and I scraped it once and it bent the frame a bit which stopped the motor from working till I bent it back. I need to cut a small section of the plastic under the car so the motor sits flatter.

The manual version would be better long term, but they are both overpriced for what they are. I'm still glad I didn't drill or get the off center ones. Can't stand those.

The holder is fine, the metal rail is weak, it doesn't wiggle or move at all so it is stable, just not something I'd move in and out a whole hell of a lot.

I took a gamble, I just can't do off-center. It's functional and won't be angled once I trim the plastic under the car to make the motor fit.

I'd say this one is worth the $45 the manual costs, that should be 20 bucks at best.

Dont know how to link youtube videos but here's a zip tie version but on a different car XD

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKonbxIkGZ0"]Install no drill front license plate holder Volkswagen Passat 2008 - YouTube[/ame]

I still have the front license plate holder in my trunk inside a plastic bag. Ima see what I can do with that and what solutions I can find.

I havent really looked into it much but my temp plate thingy is about to expire, actually it expired today haha. But I still havent gotten my plates

Here's another for a Mustang, not sure if you can do this on the FRS/BRZ.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eAWYsm8UA8"]No Drill License Plate install on 2007 Shelby Mustang GT500 - YouTube[/ame]

-================-

Also, cant we just use the existing one but instead of drilling it, get a big ass washer and a long ass bolt plus a nut and screw it through the grills?
