Data Logging and U codes

Today ran a data logger in the FRS at an AutoX and at the last run got a U0155 code and it put the car into limp mode (made the run really slow). I found this other thread with the same issue:

Question is does anyone know of a fix, different hardware combination that doesn't do this or is it going to be a matter of unplugging the OBD connector before every run / track session?

Running the OBDLink LX connector with Track Addict app.

Are additional lights coming up on the dash? I've recently come across this issue and I'm fairly certain it has to do with plugging things into the OBD2 port. I recently purchased a 2018 BRZ with a fairly loose OBD2 connector and if I jiggle the scan tool plug too much while it's in the port it trips several codes (including U0155) and turns on several lights on the dash. Exact thing happened with a friend's 2013 FR-S.

On my previous 2013 FR-S the port was very solid and I never had an issue. I don't have a solution yet unfortunately. Looking into getting an OBD2 extension so I don't have to constantly plug things in to actual port. I'm not sure if the next step would to just rewire a new plug.

I did get other lights as well, ABS for sure of what I can remember. Getting an OBD extension in order to not plug into the actual port is a good idea.
