How long do you go before changing brake fluid

I’m only doing HPDE and the like and I’m on my 3rd day so far with RBF660 (in a car that was brand new to start with) so how often do you guys change yours? Just when it starts to turn dark or do you have an interval?

I get three 2-day events out of regular off-the-shelf parts store DOT4 or DOT5.1 full flush at beginning of season, then I'll do a caliper-bleed and that takes me another three events (usually ending my season). I do have the big Brembo brakes though...

I bet you don't need RBF660. I've never had issues with "normal" DOT4/DOT5.1 even in the 550hp FD RX-7.

Mine starts to darken at about 5-6 track days. I change it once a year regardless.

I do drive it to the grocery store every now and then but largely speaking my miles are to the track on the track and from the track. I’ll probably do 5-6 track days this year so I’ll see how it looks at the end. Thanks guys!

For a car that sees track time, once at the beginning of the season. Brake fluid picks up moisture relatively quickly thus lowering it's boiling point. I usually change it out along with the clutch fluid every spring.

For autocross (~20 events/year and 400 runs) I bleed about twice a year. Pads and rotors once every two years. But I also DD the car and drive it to/from Lincoln and California (from Seattle) so it's getting 20,000 miles/year of driving.
