On Board Camera Recommendations
Looking at the Garmin Mini or any subsequent models that are the pricier side. There's also GoPro but I'm not too familiar on how useful it would be for everyday driving/accident detection/recording.
What would be a good balance between everyday use and track day use where I could record image and sound at a fairly good quality?

I wish I had seen that site before I bought my dash cam. I bought a VanTop H610 four months ago and so far it's been great (despite the lack luster dashcamtalk review), but now I'm concerned about the future.

I've had several viofodash cams, but recently switched to ROAV because the app they have is so much easier to use when you need to suddenly pull videos up right away - it's streamed to your phone! I much rather use an app on my phone than to fumble for 5-10mins with the viofo physical buttons (which I found not user friendly).

I use Garmin Tandem dashcams with park cable on both of my vehicles. Very minimalist and tiny, records both front and inside. Programmable parking mode.
