Tranny upgrade
Completed my engine built and tuning on my auto brz im now looking to complete the final task of my tranny. I have a upgraded VB which is great but i want a FULLY built trans like the engine no cutting corners anyone with suggestions on how i should go about that. Im s/c with e85 on a tiny pulley so it’s quite torquey. Should i just upgrade my clutch packs too and call it a day?

Put a 6 speed in it? It depends on how much torque it makes as to whether a stock 6 speed is strong enough.
There is something just wrong about an auto in a BRZ, well that's my opinion anyway.

I'm confused. Do you have an automatic or the 6MT? Neither of which has "clutch packs".

I have an auto. Automatics use multiple clutches also known as “clutch packs”. Manual uses one clutch which leads to why I choose the auto I have two other vehicles one is a manual which is my daily. Tbh the manual trans on our platform becomes garbage when you add more torque and stress on it not saying I hate it but I damn sure wouldn’t trust it with a car I bought intentionally to throw power and money at. The auto shifts quickly, crisp, and the rev-match is amazing. The automatic has room for improvement the manual doesn’t, and not a lot of people know that you can switch how you want it to shift(smooth, hard, medium)which I found that out when upgrading the VB. The bottom line is clutch packs last longer and is more efficient in handling torque with the new material and technology they have now just in my opinion.

Looks like the only mods 86Tokoyo had on his auto was a VB and trans cooler.
