is the SSR GTX01 daily drivable?

I am in the market of getting new wheels and I have been eyeing this set for almost a year now. There are practically not many reviews on these wheels despite it being name dropped a few times. I randomly came across a comment stating that the SSR wheels are mainly track focused and too fragile to be in a daily. Is this true with this set? I don't track my car at all and is just my DD.

If this is sadly the case, does anyone have any good alternatives?

Track wheels are designed to handle more abuse, not less.

I've have SSR wheels with flow form technology that are very durable for daily use as well as track duty. These are a great compromise between forged wheels which are more expensive.

Eh, not according to WedsSports. With track wheels weight savings takes priority over out right strength against potholes. They explained for the street they recommend the SA series over the TC on a DD application.
