ACDelco Platinum spark plugs, will they fit?

I got ACDelco Platinum spark plugs and I got a bit nervous when the only viable reason behind which ones to get was the salesperson said "I used to have a BRZ years back and this is what I used" (good memory???)
I purchased part# 41-805 and when I scour the web I see nothing saying that it would fit my 2017 86. the owner's manual says to strictly use Iridium and I found a thread that mentioned a platinum plug that can be used. I'd like some clarity before I jump into this

You'll likely be a martyr. or you can choose not to take the risk. I personally spend the coin to get OE plugs, because sparkplugs on this car are not something worth messing around with

I don't know if our OE sparcplugs are already rather expensive and higher end due wish to lengthen change intervals (by original procedure involved lifting engine), or it's generic trait of modern high efficiency/rpm/compression engines that need high quality plugs as well, but OE are good. Most aftermarket ones claiming massive improvement over those i'll look at as if snake oil. Or at very least as massively overblown improvement, if any. OE in this case works well, and at most i'd think of trying to find them somewhere cheaper, with lesser markup then that of some dealerships. Coilpack of very early twins is different story though.

OEM spark plugs are DENSO Iridium. Iridium is harder, lasts longer, & has higher melting point than Platinum. Changing our boxer's spark plugs is quite challenging too so stick with the OEM Iridum ones.

When I had my new IAG motor built I asked my builder what plugs and he said to stick with OEM

Dont forget that incorrect sparkplug temperatute range can cause knocking, whuch will cause power loss at best, damage at worst.

What Iridium spark plugs would you recommend?

Edit: wait are you using DENSO Iridium and Iridium interchangeably? I read it as Iridium > OEM Denso Iridium and you continued to recommend the Denson Iridium...

Iridium is name of metal, not some trademarked product. And what's wrong with using OE recommended plugs that had been chosen by engineers that made this engine and have most experience with it? About the only reason not-to, if you have reliable info (apart from advertisement pitch by manufacturer or retail to push sale or some single forum thread) that some aftermarket alternative is as reliable and not differing much in important specs, but still is cheaper then OE.

I have been running HKS sparkplugs for a little over two years now. I haven’t had any knocking or other strange noises coming from under the hood.
