Edelbrock E-force supercharger

Hello everybody!
I just installed the supercharger yesterday but I started to run into issues with the TMAP sensor and/or the CARB legal tune. The car wouldn't start (would just keep cranking) but when I changed the new TMAP sensor with the oem MAP sensor, it started right up. It does run rough on start up but after like 30 seconds, it starts to idle relatively normally. The oem map sensor only can go to 4-5 psi if I was told correctly, but the tune is rated for 9 psi. Is this a faulty TMAP sensor or could the tune be the issue? So far, everything I have read has indicated most people have at least been able to start the car with the new TMAP sensor but I could not even do that.

Also, is the Delicious Tune and d-box still CARB legal? Would it pass smog or do I need to flash back to the CARB legal tune from Edelbrock?

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

Could be a bad map sensor. You can pick them up on Amazon for like $30. With the new tmap installed what does your boost read with the car off and ignition on? Also what is your elevation?

Finally, the dbox does not require a special tune. And it would be as simple as just unplugging it and plugging in the edelbrock harness when you have to go in for emissions testing.

Ill put the new tmap sensor back in tomorrow when i go to work and Ill check the boost with the ignition on as well. Im at 52'.
Im more or less wondering if the tune from Delicious is CARB legal still. From what I understand, the Delicious tune is essentially just a better "version" of the CARB tune from Edelbrock so I should still be able to pass smog if I am running the Delicious tune, correct?

I don't believe the delicious tune is carb legal. But yea if the boost reading is not within a few tenths of a percent positive or negative the car won't start. I think edelbrock might have pulled the old switcheroo with their map sensors and they're not 2.5 bar anymore. I had the same issue with mine tuning through Open Flash. Their base map would not work, they had to work some magic to make the map close enough to start.

Edelbrock is taking days to get back via email. You can call and sometimes get through quickly. You could try flashing the carb tune that comes with the SC (once you get it fro edelbrock) that will tell you if it's the tune or the map sensor that is causing your issue.

I have the tune and its flashed onto the ECU but when I have the new TMAP sensor installed, it will just crank and not start. Install the old oem map sensor and it starts but runs rough on start up (and cant handle past 4-5 psi) so its definitely not gonna handle this supercharger.
Ive read that some of these TMAP sensors have been scaled incorrectly but if the CARB tune doesn't allow you to rescale the TMAP sensor, how can it be corrected?
I guess I should just start with replacing the TMAP sensor and go from there.
