AIR CONDITIONER ND-OIL8 QUANTITY

Does anyone know the amount of PAG ND-OIL8 required for the 86/FRS/BRZ AC system? The AC requirements label in the engine compartment calls for 13.8 +/-1.8oz of R-134a refrigerant and indicates the oil type is ND-OIL8, but it does not specify an amount of oil. I also looked on the AC compressor itself and in the owners manual and didn't find any additional information. Didn't come up with any hits in the search either. Really appreciate the help if someone knows the correct amount. Thanks!

I reckon that would depend on how much oil the system has lost (or has left in it).

If all the parts are void of oil, then a 8 oz can should be more than enough to fill it up.

OR, I would suggest the "humfrz" method of finding out. That would be to take your car into a dealer or certified A/C shop and ask them to "fix" your A/C. Then ask them how much oil (if any) it took.
