Blitz air filter mainteinance

I have a Blitz filter in my red manifold airbox, I cleaned a couple of times with K&N cleaner, but I read on the Japanese website that it's just meant to be blown with air.
Do you have any feedback on this?

I just shook mine off and gave it a blow with compressed air. I haven't had any issues.

Well since the filter is oil less the K&N cleaner really doesn't do anything. Since the K&N cleaner is pretty much a degreaser made to remove K&N oil.

This is just my own opinion but it should be fine as long as you completely dry it before putting it the car.

Oh, since you felt it needed cleaned twice now and you have tortured it with K&N cleaner, I suggest you trash that one and buy a new one.

As @weederr33 suggested, when you go to clean your new one, just tap it on a concrete floor, dirty side down, and then gently blowing it our from the cleaner side out.
