Not the twins but very interesting recall with old 3 series

Not a twin

But BMW seem to be playing extremely nice with this latest Takata recall for a very old car

that article just makes me want to slap the author. very snide, with way too much off-beat opinion to really make much sense of. i had to read very carefully to separate the two, and even then i'm not sure i got all of it.

it reminds me of those grade school papers where i wrote 0.25 of a page on the assigned material, and then started adding filler words to meet the 3 page requirement.

anyways...
how takata still exists astounds me.

I like him, funny and honest, he has been reporting on cars here for over 20 years.

Is he opinionated, yes, aren't they all.

I have also save alot of money using his brokers to buy my new cars.

If something is shit he says it's shit

Anyways, each to their own for entertainment and information.

As for Takata, they went bankrupt and sold in 2017.

Wiki

On June 25, 2017, Takata filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the United States and filed for bankruptcy protection in Japan, owing more in compensation than is possible for its survival. The surviving assets are to be sold to its largest competitor, Chinese owned and U.S. (Michigan) based Key Safety Systems, for about $1.6 billion.[43][44][45] On April 11, 2018, following the completion of Key Safety System's acquisition of Takata, the company announced that the company would be renamed to Joyson Safety Systems, and continue to operate in Michigan as Key Safety Systems.

Nice shuffle if I might say so myself
