What changes thru the years

I just bought a 2020 BRZ. After researching aftermarket parts i see a difference in some parts starting with 2017. Can someone direct me to a thread explaining the changes.

Yes I know, I did search. Thanks

Different intake manifold, 4.3 final drive vs 4.1. Several exterior changes, performance pack became an option with Brembos. More bad headunits, steering wheel audio controls...I'm sure there's a lot more little things but that's most of the big changes.

I'm assuming you mean "what changed starting with 2017 compared to 2013 through 2016"

Thanks for the input. Interesting read. The "marketing info" makes it sound like the car has great linear power. NOT. I cant imagine how bad tbe torque dip is on the earlier models, based on this marketing hype.
That said, i do enjoy the car. The balance is great. the "turn in" and "set" is about as good as any car I've ever driven. The rear rotation at turn in is just right. I look forward to my next track day. This willbe my first track experience with a low hp car. Should be fun in the corners
Cheers

Don't let the torque dip talk worry you.

If your plodding around on the street you never notice it, and if your leaning on the car it's never in that rev range anyway.

The torque dip has been marketed well by aftermarket parts manufactures and suppliers though.

This deserves a million thanks. Even when I choose to floor it in first or second I don't notice it. And you can't floor it in any higher gear without ending up in prison or at least an absurd ticket.
