Changed Clutch, pedal is now super light

47k miles and changed my clutch from OEM to South Bend Stage 2 Daily, TOB and OEM flywheel. Also put on a verus clutch fork and pivot.

From what I read, the new clutch should be a tiny bit heavier than stock but my pedal is super light for some reason.

When I did pull the transmission, the transmission sleeve, clutch fork and TOB was caked in dried up dirt/grease that looked like metal particles to me. I had to scrap the baked on grease off the sleeve. Could this be the cause of me having a "heavier" than normal OEM clutch pedal without me realizing it and the new clutch is what normal should be?

Those crappy TOBs will cause the clutch to have a heavier feel. You just got used to it since it happened over a long time. A brand new clutch will tend to always feel a bit lighter too in my experience.

In my experience, I have the ACT streetlite clutch kit, and the clutch pedal is very heavy stiff compared to oem, I know because my girlfriend is still oem clutch and hers is very light comparing.

I replaced my OEM clutch with another OEM clutch plus the Versus fork and pivot. I thought the new setup was so creamy smooth it may have felt lighter but I'm not sure if it actually is.

I have a South Bend clutch and a Exedy lightweight flywheel along with those Verus parts. It is very light. Annoyingly so sometimes.

My auto shop teacher told us that as a clutch disk wears down it becomes thinner. When the disk is thin, the pressure plate (which is backed by a spring/springs) moves in toward the flywheel more when it's engaged. When the pressure plate is in farther, the other end of the spring sticks up/out farther - this other end is the "fingers" that the t/o bearing has to push. So now, we have a t/o pushing on fingers that are at a higher angle which changes the leverage which the t/o has to push. I had 221k miles on my 93 Toyota and when I put a new clutch in I thought something was wrong with it being so easy to push in. What I had not noticed was that over an 18 year period my original clutch had imperceptibly become much "heavier" or harder to push in. Hope this helps.
