Any alloy wheel curb rash fix suggestions?

Trying to fix my curb rash at home on my Deep Red Rota Grids. Anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about this? Or maybe a youtube video you guys recommend? Never done this before so not even sure what to buy yet

One may use a Dremel type little grinder and knock off the rough (high) spots. Then use some sandpaper to smooth them out.

Then clean the spots with alcohol. Then use touch up paint.

OR, use the humfrz method - just don't look at the curb rashed spots anymore - they will "go away".

JB weld to fill in the areas you curb damaged. Sand back into the shape of the lip.
Then treat as body work. Filler, sand, primer, sand, degrease, paint, clear.

Or just pay a wheel repair shop to sort it out for you.

"out of sight, out of mind" but the itch does return, only a course of prescriptive works will calm the rash...

Oh, maybe not. For example, the right front wheel on my FR-S has a nasty, bright yellow scrape on it from me grinding it into a no parking curb next to my granddaughter's school. Yep, I know it was there because I heard the sickening sound when I did it.

I looked at it at the time and it was nasty for sure. It went away until that wheel got its annual washing this summer, then it reappeared for a few seconds. Now it's gone till next summers washing.

My first/previous car had blue TE37SLs. I basically drove right into a curb and curbed the shit out of one of the wheels...

After talking to some old heads, I went to a lady store with my girlfriend and picked a blue enamel that was identical to the wheel color.

I cleaned with rubbing alcohol, sanded the scratch with a finger nail filer, used a finger nail base coat, used the finger nail enamel, and topped it off with finger nail clear coat.

Lasted the rest of the car’s life (few years). No one except myself and my girlfriend knew where the damage was done.

I suggest this method because your wheels are red (like my Work wheels now), and no mobile repair will readily work on them.

OR ignore it.... which is hard since they’re red
