Rev bounce 2013 Brz

I wanted to know if this was normal? It idle drops below 400 then stutters a little and bounces back up. Here’s a video:

Is it just me for did the RPM never drop below 500? Looks like your A/C is on which would mean this is normal.

If you have tuning software, bump the idle up over 800, it won't happen again

If you have recently disconnected the battery, the ECU may still be relearning - not to worry.

If your car has a AT, I understand that there is a patch/update the dealer can do to settle the idle down.

Like said, if your AC compressor is clicking ON, it will drag the idle down.

As mentioned, it's the A/C clutch engaging. Turn the A/C off and see if it still does it.

Also be aware if you run your front defroster it also cycles the A/C.

Mine also dips if I raise both windows at once.
