ATEQ QuickSet and Passenger Door/Window Controls

Hey guys,

I have two sets of TPMS sensors and use the ATEQ to program the codes to the car. I just switched wheels to my summer set and since programming the car two things happened:

1. The TPMS light came on, and will not go off. I checked the tire pressure and all 4 are set correctly.
2. My passenger side door and window controls do not work. The switch lights are off, and nothing responds to input. The door can still be locked/unlocked from the drivers side, but the passenger window will not move period.

I had this set of wheels on the car before and did not have either problem. Thinking the door/window issue was separate, I took the car to the mechanic. He said the passenger side controls are on the same circuit as the TPMS sensors. Has anybody had this problem before?

No.

But, please tell me you've checked the fuses -

Multiple times, and even swapped with spares just to test. No difference.

New Development:
I got my car back from the mechanic. I noticed right away my door speakers didn't work. I called them back and told them whats wrong and they said to come back. After looking over the car for 5 minutes they said they don't know what's wrong. I told them to check the fuses but they insisted they did not change anything. They send me on my merry way with a 'Sorry it looks like more wiring issues'. I get home, check the fuse, and sure enough the AMP fuse was in the wrong spot. This make me question everything the mechanic has told me. I'm leaning towards these being separate issues that coincidentally happened at the same time.

So, last night I checked in the ATEQ quickset application and verified the codes in the system. All the codes are correct. In Quickset you can specify Hexidecimal or Decimal. Since the codes printed on the sensors are in decimal, I put decimal. Last night I told it to convert to hex and uploaded those codes instead, still no difference. The car still blinks the TPMS light and then stays solid. Its like the system isn't even getting new codes or tries to detect the sensors.

Are the TPMS sensors still functional? Is your tire pressure above 31 psi?

If you have an OBD reader, the Carista App free version (iOS/Android) can let you view the realtime pressure reading on the sensors.

Do our sensors transmit all the time? Mercedes sensors don't turn on until the car moves for a while or the pressure changes +/- 5 psi.

Are your other tires (and sensors) stored near your car - maybe they are getting confused -

That was my first question, but the mechanic said literally none of the sensors would scan. I just find it hard to believe all 4 sensors died. Possible I suppose.

Tire pressure is at 35 on all 4.

They are stored in the same garage, but have never affected switching the wheels before. Just to test, I drove the car to a different location and flashed the new sensor IDs, same result.

Did you pull the pressure with a stick/gauge or directly off the TPMS?

Also, does it blink once then stop? Or does it blink multiple times before going solid.

I used a pressure gauge. Is there a way to scan the sensors to see what pressure they report?

It blinks multiple times, and then stays solid. Does this every start up.

If it blinks multiple times, it means something's up with a sensor or communication. If it blinks once, it's tire pressure.

Yes, I mentioned one earlier. You can download the Carista App (Android or iOS) and read the TPMS through a WiFi/Bluetooth OBD reader.
