Any way to turn on an audible chime for the TPMS warning light?

Just lost a tire that I ran almost flat for a bit and didn’t notice the light (my fault). While relying on an idiot light isn’t ideal, lower profile tires don’t exactly give the same warning signs as a tire with a taller sidewall. Does an option exist to turn on an audible chime when the TPMS activates? Thanks!

Heck, I don't know, but maybe the government will read your post and it will be a requirement in the future -

Back in the day - oh, never mind -

Yeah I’m not a huge fan of the “required safety features”...but if it going to come with it anyways I’d rather have the option to hear a warning. That said...2 miles after through a construction site on a flat/nearly flat tire and jersey barriers on both sides was fun. Thankfully the tire didn’t debead and held together.

i don't like that the system won't display tire pressures. i pulled the sensors and taped the light off the first time i changed tires.

Just because your dad made you ride in the back of the pickup truck when you were a kid, doesn't mean you have to shun all safety devices as an adult -

I just don't see a point in maintaining a multi-hundred dollar system that simply illuminates a light in the gauge cluster when any 1 of 4 sensors do 'something'.

And i am leaving the airbags, and tcs system in place . Those have a direct benefit, even if i don't agree with ABS' safety concept.

You wouldn't pass the annual safety inspection in my state. You can't disable safety systems and pass so I always have to get the car inspected when I have the 3 season wheels on because I don't have TPMS sensors on my winter wheels.

You know, they can just be within range right? I have the opposite - only my winters have tpms because I raise/lower my pressure in the summer depending on my activity, and I care far more if my winters go flat!

I can pass with the winters sitting in the car as long as they're at the right pressure level
