No.. this would not work..
First, as stated by 2forme.. the FR-S is drive by wire. Second, he's not actually gaining 50 HP... the he's merely fixing the throttle cable to allow him full throttle that he once had. Throttle cables can stretch over time.. so he's simply taking the slack out of the line. He ought to actually fix it the correct way and buy a new throttle cable, instead of rigging it up with zipties though. This happens with old cars though... so a brand new FR-S, even if it had a throttle cable, wouldn't exhibit this. |
