Changing oil on an 86 with an oil cooler

I installed the Jackson Track Oil Cooler a couple days ago and I wonder if there's anything that I'll have to take in account for when I change the oil on the car?

I think there's gonna be some oil in the radiator itself and Jackson recommends to change the oil every 3000 miles as well.

I'm currently on 0w20 oil but I may switch to 5w30 for the next oil change to deal with the upcoming summer heat so I'm wondering if it'll be an issue.

Nothing different. The first time you change the oil just make a note how much it takes to refill.

The oil cooler will not drain during the oil change. This is not a big deal. Oil change will be exactly the same.

Just account for the extra capacity. Also is there instructions to prime the cooler/engine after a refill or this is only on first fill?
