60-70 mph shake

Recently I put on 18x9.5 rims on my 86 and I went for a test drive and drove it when I hit 60-70 mph it started to shake from the rear what could it be that causes this? And I am about 1.5-2inches low on Coilovers in the rear

Welcome,

First off, right way with a 9.5 wide wheel I would assume your offsets are fucked up.
Jack the car up find where it's rubbing. Add a spacer or go back to stock, sell ill fitting wheels, work out what's the proper offset for the desired width. Wheel/tire calculator works wonders.

If not that, check lugs.
If not that, check for proper tire balancing.
If not that, check proper tire direction, if tires are one directional.
If not that, check for any lose bolts on the suspension parts.

What about your e-brake shoes? Maybe they aren't disengaging all the way. I had a similar experience.

What is the wheel out of curiosity? Were they properly mounted and balanced by a tire shop? It's usually a good idea to get an alignment done after a set of new wheels. I've driven without a hubcentric ring on one wheel and there is no shaking. The car just feels weird. Like it lunges into a certain direction a bit too quickly.

New or used tires? I bought a set of track tires lightly used and while the wheels were balanced one of the tires had a near imperceptible uneven-wear. No issues right up until I hit 75 or so.
