Busted Splitter

Hello all, first post.
Does anyone here know where I can get a new (or used) replacement splitter for my RS1.0 FR-S?
I'm hesitant to jump at any of the unpainted ones on ebay as I can't tell if they're the exact same and I don't want to go through the hassle of finding a limited production car's yellow paint.

So should I go to a dealer or...?
if you have a specific ebay one that is a perfect match, please let me know. I'm trying to keep my FR-S all stock though.
Thanks

Most if not all of the ebay RS1.0 lips are fake. Go to the dealer and get a genuine one considering the rest of your TRD add ons are genuine. Just my opinion on what you should do.

Thanks, that was my original plan but I did want to check with the more knowledgeable FR-S owners than I.

First choice - Dealer for the real thing. Be prepared tp PAY

Second choice - Real one for sale from auto wreckers (they have a data base so a local one can search the whole country), Ebay, Forum, Facebook, Etc. Will be cheaper but my be a rough search and take a long time.

Third choice - A "copy" from a reputable on line seller. I haven't searched but they no doubt exist.

Fourth choice - A knock off from an unknown and possibly crappy Ebay seller in Lower Slobovia or such. Cheap but god only knows what you will end up with.

It all depends on how much you are willing to spend.

If you guys don't trust ebay parts, I don't trust ebay parts, so do you have any idea what the cost would be from a dealer?

I've seen you a lot on these forums while I was snooping..

I have had very good luck with Ebay parts and I have had some total crap with them. It is a gamble.
Not sure what the price on the real thing would be but my best guess runs from around $1,000 to $ashitload.
If I was looking for one for myself I would search through all the dealer sites to see if they have a replica. At least then you have a reasonable chance of getting some quality.

The list of parts on my car bought off ebay is extensive.

Pics of your splitter? How "busted" is it?

Guess: part will cost 400-600. paint + install will cost 400-600. So, probably somewhere in the $800-$1200 range for OEM.

A skilled body shop may be able to fix the one you have cheaper...

Splitter broken

Heres a picture of it, I don't think this is a body shop repair.
please ignore the circle, the picture was taken from a text conversation and the circle was part of it...
please also ignore the hail damage, that is body shop work that we're doing in the next month.

That's busted alright!

The hail damage is knarly too. If you are getting that fixed, then painting and installing the lip should be part of that job. IDK your budget, but thats quite a bit of work. I mean, get oem if budget allows, but if not, I think a replica would be only noticable to you. (possibly a few other car nerds) Value wise though, since your car us getting resprayed, your losing value there, I don't think a replica lip will bring you down any further.

I hope these repairs go well for you. Good luck!

Thanks! I'll check my nearest Toyota Dealership for pricing, but the hail damage is being taken care of separately.

OEM?

https://www.proimporttuners.com/part...hoC6XYQAvD_BwE

Just googled around, do you think that this one might be a "close enough to not be noticed" match? Brand quality? Any better ones that you can find? I'm not too keen on the splitters that wrap around the grill, but those seem to be abundant.
Thanks

I think a body shop should be able to fix that correctly, and reinforce it with a bracket on the backside at both ends for less than the cost of a new unpainted part, then have a local dent wizard come pop your hail dings.

Edit: Oh gosh, I only saw the crack, not the missing chunk of bumper...

If you have to get a copy, get one from here. https://baysonr.com/collections/scio...p-polyurethane
Most of the Bayson R stuff fits pretty well.
