Is stock head unit wiring connected to fusebox?

I've started looking into fuses and circuits as I started exploring dash cam options. Notably, I was wondering whether options connector could feed 13.5A max for BlackVue B-124. I figured no as this is supposedly under RADIO circuit (fuse #21) and the fuse is rated 7.5A.

Then I started wondering how the head unit works, as I've recently installed AVH-ZL5150BT, which has 10A max current and has 10A fuse behind the unit. I also noticed the stock unit is rated 16.4A max. Both should be using the same power sources as I used the harness from autoharnesshouse.com.

Does this mean the circuit for the head unit does not go through fuse box? If that's the case, what exactly does RADIO circuit power?

I'm looking at 2016 wiring diagram (couldn't find one for 2017). This indicates ACC is connected to RADIO circuit (7.5A fuse) and the battery power is connected to the DOME circuit (20A fuse). Perhaps the setup works since ACC load is supposed to work like a switch for the relay, and the actual load is supposed to be driven by DOME circuit (i.e. 12V always-on from battery)?
