Wheel Lock Key
I am having trouble locating my wheel lock key. I've never had cause to search for it before but I do now and I can't find it anywhere. I've looked in the truck, around the spare, glove box etc etc. I don't think my BRZ came with one when I purchased it. (Used from a dealer).
Will I need to go to a Subaru dealer to get a new one? Can I get one online? What are my options here? |

![]() Since you bought it used from a dealer, your best bet may to have any good tire shop "rattle" them off and buy a new set. Bubba says just to squirt the locking lugs with a shot of warm kerosene and then take a cold chisel and a BF hammer and loosen them up. After that, any lug wrench will take them the rest of the way off. OR Wait till someone else comes along with a more sophisticated solution. ![]() humfrz |

Might have to buy the entire wheel lock kit from a dealership (should be able to purchase online from the dealership too, though in my experience they tend to gouge you on the shipping costs). I don't know if they sell the key on its own without the locks. Do your locks look like this?

Thanks Brink. That is exactly the information I need. If I knew how to give that post a thumbs up I would.
