Long time listener, first time caller...

So yeah, after stalking this forum for about 6 years, I did a thing and bought a WRB 2018 BRZ limited with the PP.

Where the WRX felt like I was getting into a winter parka, the BRZ feels like I'm putting on a smedium tshirt.

reminds me a lot of my old GSR, just RWD, and I like it.

back to lurking for another 6 years?

If you've been lurking for 6 years, you know we need to see some pics

Congratulations! Any plans for it? What convinced you to pull the trigger?

what convinced me is that I recently got engaged, we are thinking kids in 3-4 years. I'm not exactly a young dude any more. so the math on me getting a fun car after the kid experience is not 0, but it is one of those non-rational numbers. So do it now, pay it off in 3 years, get the family truckster on lease, and keep this in the garage as the side ho.

plans are to be passed by minivans on the straights, but catch them back up in the corners.

That was my plan exactly dude. Figure kids in 2ish years and mom can get the giant SUV and dad can daily the fun car.

Btw, fu for getting WRB. I really wanted a WRB brz but ended up with a white 86.

Congratulations. My wife and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary this year.

3 years to pay off, Nice! It took me 4. It is a great car to keep in the garage, or drive ALL the time!

Good Luck!

My kids are 38 and 36. I waited until after to buy a new sports car.

Congratulations man! Look forward to seeing another BRZ on the road out here What side of town are you in? How's the transition from WRX to BRZ been? Great choice on the WRB with the PP by the way. Looking good

I'm out on the east end, it's still too early to really get a grip on the changes, when I take a corner I'm still shocked at how precise it handles. Even though they both have electric PS, the feedback feels so much better. The WRX had a full turbo back, so I can't even compare power levels.

Love the GSR comparison, that's exactly how I feel about the car. You'll love it!
