This topic is for LMs with no specs... When @SpecPer posts the full reveal he should do it in a new topic with the full specs and MANY photos.

I love these wheels, ran authentic on my 911 but I'm going with the ESM reps for the BRZ.

I hate the fact there has been an influx of BBS knockoffs these days. It's going to kill the image of BBS, if not already. If they're knockoffs, then keep the knockoff company centercaps on, not put on some BBS caps to pass off as the real ones. To each their own I guess. I'm just bitter the classics such as the LM and RS have fallen victim to identity theft.

LMs have been around for years, I used refinish them but also gotten replicas. Knockoffs actually helped the price of real LMs. How? because knockoffs make them popular and known all over the place. There are tons of real JDM wheels that no one knows about and aren't popular, so they can't be sold for that much. Have you ever heard of Lexion wheels? They have a pretty crappy re-sale price compared to their original price. They're made by RAYS but it took me 1 year to sell a set without losing a lot of money. People with money will always buy the real deal instead of going with reps.

The RSs are another story, they got burned in the VW market. People started to refinish them and started selling them for crazy prices. I saw the rs001s going at one point for $3200 in 15".

For anyone interested the red 86 probs had 17/18x7.5 48+ as that's the only size I can find for bbs with 5x100 stud with bore of 56.1. I been looking for months for genuine set and no luck or pockets not deep enough for a set of new lms
