Did I put the wrong oil in my brand new car?

I just did my first oil change on my 2018 BRZ at 4,000 miles. However, I screwed up. I put in Mobile 1 High Mileage 5w-20 oil instead of Mobile 1 Extended Performance 0w-20 (should have paid more attention when buying on Amazon). Did I hinder my car? That oil is meant for cars over 75,000 miles. Please advise. Thank you.

I'd change the oil and put in the correct stuff. Cheap compared to the components the oil is used to protect and the AVCS system.. It takes 0W-20

5w20 just gets thicker than 0w20 when it gets cold. It behaves the same at temp.

5w30 is better for engine protection but not so much for energy efficiency.

As long as you don't drive like an asshole before the engine warms up, you're fine with whatever.

8 hours and no one's said "Totaled" yet? Well, it's totaled.

@SkyeHack only thing I can think is that some of that volume of oil is additives you don't need (like seal swellers). Like, perhaps 5%-10% of the volume (rough guess). So yeah, I think going back to a non-high mileage oil might be better.
